Members of the association manage public assembly venues such as amphitheatres, arenas, auditoria, convention centres/exhibition halls, performing arts venues, stadia and university complexes; or provide products, services or attractions to support the industry. IAAM has more than 3,600 members worldwide.

 Stadia & Arena Events
The Stadia & Arena series of events is now firmly established as a top-level networking and sales opportunity in the European industry’s calendar. In 2010 the event will be held in London at Excel – International Exhibition and Conference Centre. London is of course the city set to stage the next Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, and a site visit to the Olympic Park is planned as part of the conference programme.

 Audience Systems
Audience Systems designs, manufactures and installs seating for arenas, entertainment and sports venues. With its headquarters in the UK, and an Asian office based in Singapore, the company has worldwide representation, exporting to over 50 countries. Audience Systems has substantial experience spanning many major projects, and offers services including consultation with architects, CAD design, manufacture, project management and installation.

 Construct Stadia
The Construct Group, based in Buckinghamshire, UK, designs and builds modular steel-framed stands, stadia and arenas on a global basis. It has rejected the reinforced concrete method of construction, instead seeing pre-engineered steel terracing panels and prefabricated modular steel units as the future of stadia construction.

 Intelligent Engineering
Intelligent Engineering’s SPS Terraces are prefabricated terracing or riser units, as used recently at the O2 Dublin in Ireland, and the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand and Birmingham’s LG Arena in the UK, to create raked seating and standing platforms. They are manufactured from steel and a sandwich plate system (SPS) in a range of tread widths, rise heights and long clear spans for both stadia and arenas.

 Jezet Seating
Jezet Seating has supplied retractable seating systems and seats for theatres, auditoria, and sports halls for more than 35 years. From its corporate site in Overpelt in Belgium, it handles the whole development process in house, from preliminary studies to the end product. It also has its own installation teams to perform the installation and provide after-sales service.

Sekisui Alveo is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of cross-linked polyolefin foams.
