GreensGroomer WorldWide was founded in 1996. Initially, GreensGroomer designed and built equipment for the golf and turf industry only. After working with several manufacturers in the synthetic turf industry, and on research and development for close to a year, GreensGroomer successfully introduced the Synthetic Sports Turf Groomer and Spring Tine Rake. GreensGroomer has since been providing turf-conditioning equipment to the synthetic sports turf market – for over nine years.
The Synthetic Sports Turf Groomer and Spring Tine Rake enable fast and efficient grooming of all infill on synthetic sports fields, in both wet and dry conditions. The unique brush design moves infill material in three different directions for every 3ft of forward movement, working the infill into low spots and depressions left after play. The Groomer lifts the turf fibres, leaving them in a plush, upright position. There are 14 super-duty blue brushes on the Groomer, made of synthetic material that retains its original shape, resists wear, and will not rot.
The Spring Tine Rake, attached to the rear of the Groomer, consists of three rows of 28 tines, for thorough coverage. Each row of tines may be adjusted to the desired level of aggressiveness for any rubber or sand/rubber infill sports fields. The Spring Tine Rake combs through the infill, relieving compaction, releasing trapped turf fibres, and assuring a level playing surface. Because the Synthetic Sports Turf Groomer is perfectly balanced, bounce is eliminated while towing, providing the optimum groomed surface.
Since 1996, GreensGroomer has provided turf conditioning equipment to more than 5,000 natural and synthetic turf venues worldwide, including many NFL facilities, colleges, high schools, golf courses, parks, and recreation departments. GreensGroomer WorldWide is a member of the GCSAA, STMA, STC, and NGF.
