KCCJ believes that the secret to successful commercial catering lies in the design. The company’s experience ranges across hospitality and restaurants, venue catering and community kitchens for schools and sports centres. No matter how talented the chef or how modern the catering equipment, if it isn’t designed for functionality, practicality, efficiency and comfort, it doesn’t work. KCCJ invests time in planning and design consultation, understanding how its clients work and what, in turn, their customers expect. It isn’t just about filling a space with the latest commercial equipment, it’s about creating a catering and service system to fulfil clients’ needs.
Stadia have to cater for volumes of people that most restaurants wouldn’t dream of. Stadium catering facilities therefore need the ultimate in high-speed and high-capacity design and equipment installations, whilst meeting the high-end restaurant-style demands of VIPs and corporate visitors. Today’s venue customers expect more than pre-cooked and rewarmed food, and so the problem of providing quality for thousands of people within a short interval remains the greatest challenge to a commercial kitchen and restaurant design, as well as the professional catering equipment within it. Previously profits were lost because of poor food and long queues. At KCCJ that simply isn’t an option.
KCCJ worked with equipment manufacturers to custom design coffee machines, beer delivery and cooking equipment that could meet high demands faster than ever before. Together with its expertise, the new equipment turned big crowds into big revenue rather than a source of customer irritation.
The company can appoint, project manage and coordinate all catering contractors, ensuring that work is completed to the highest specification and deadline, and being resident on site means KCCJ can respond promptly to design and installation changes.
The company is proud to have completed several world-acclaimed venues and gained a wealth of skills in all aspects of installing multiple food and beverage outlets under one roof.
