The Stadia & Arena series of events is now firmly established as a top-level networking and sales opportunity in the European industry’s calendar. The most recent event, held in Prague in June 2009, confirmed this status, attracting delegates from all over the world – including the USA, Australasia, the Middle East, South America, the Far East and Europe.
In 2010 the event will be held in London at Excel – International Exhibition and Conference Centre. London is of course the city set to stage the next Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, and construction of the numerous permanent and temporary venues is well under way – 2010 is a critical year in the construction phase as plans and tenders will be let for the all-important fit-out stage. Delegates to the conference will be able to view at close quarters many of the new venues, as a site visit to the Olympic Park is planned as part of the conference programme. This is sure to attract key individuals from the industry keen to get a first look at the new facilities.
The Stadia & Arena series of events also enjoys the support of two of the major trade associations covering the industry – IAAM Europe and The European Safety and Stadium Managers Association (ESSMA).
