Luxury suites sold out at STAPLES Center
All 150 of STAPLES Center’s luxury suites are fully leased for the current season. Sales of the luxury suites and the arena’s 2,600 Premier (club) seats are handled by AEG Global Partnerships in association with STAPLES Center’s management.
“I think the reason that our suite owners are the most loyal and committed group of owners any arena in the nation has is because we continue to invest in booking the best schedule of concerts and special events that are on tour, in addition to our capital expense programme that allows us to make state-of-the-art improvements to the arena on an annual basis,” said Lee Zeidman, senior vice president and general manager of STAPLES Center.
STAPLES Center suite owners receive tickets in their suite for every public event held in STAPLES Center during their multi-year lease, including all NBA, NHL and WNBA pre-season, regular and post-season games, concerts, family shows, annual events such as X Games and Pac 10 Basketball Tournament, as well as special events such as boxing and tennis championships and lectures. STAPLES Center is home to four professional sports franchises – the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks.
Suite owners also receive the opportunity to purchase suites for ‘one-time, special private events’ such as the annual Grammy Awards (held at STAPLES Center 10 times in 11 years) and the 2011 NBA All-Star Game (returning to STAPLES Center for a second time in seven years). STAPLES Center suite owners regularly have the opportunity to purchase special tickets to events at nearby AEG-operated venues such as Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, Club Nokia and The Home Depot Center.
