Cubs and PNC Bank team-up for new mezzanine suite
The Chicago Cubs and The PNC Financial Services Group have announced details about a newly constructed mezzanine suite, the PNC Club of Chicago, at the Major League Baseball team’s Wrigley Field home in Chicago, Illinois. The 71-seat club is being introduced by PNC Bank, which will launch its brand in Chicago this June when signs and accounts change from National City to PNC.
The club is located on the third baseline behind the Cubs’ bullpen, adjacent to the owners’ suite. It offers individuals and businesses luxuries such as high-end catering, a full-service top-shelf bar, concierge service, large screen TVs and indoor/outdoor seating. Individuals and businesses that purchase season tickets will also have access to the club on non-game days. “We’re excited to offer this larger, more open suite to businesses and entrepreneurs looking to entertain clients or prospects at a game,” said Wally Hayward, chief sales and marketing officer for the Chicago Cubs. “PNC Club of Chicago members will have access to home games, additional events in the ballpark and even board meetings that utilise the facility. The ability to meet and network with other entrepreneurs throughout the season is appealing as well.”
PNC’s club sponsorship builds on the long-standing relationship that began with National City and the Cubs. The bank will expand its presence in Wrigley Field, with six PNC-branded ATMs, advertising behind the homeplate and permanent signage for the PNC Club of Chicago. The bank is also investing in several community projects.
Season tickets to the PNC Club of Chicago are available in sets of two, four and six tickets. Tickets can be renewed annually, and club members have an opportunity to purchase additional tickets for select Cubs games. Membership includes parking for every home game.
