Cardinals announce sponsorship deal
The St. Louis Cardinals have signed a three-year partnership with First National Bank of St. Louis. The partnership positions First National as the Hometown Bank of the St. Louis Cardinals and will enable the Bank to offer Cardinals Chequing to the St. Louis metropolitan community. The partnership extends through the parent holding company, Central Bancompany, to participating affiliates and the communities they serve including Jefferson City, Columbia, Springfield and surrounding cities in Missouri, Tulsa in Oklahoma, and O’Fallon, Millstadt, and Columbia, in Illinois.
“We are pleased to partner with First National Bank,” says Dan Farrell, senior vice president of sales and marketing for the St. Louis Cardinals. “We are excited to work with a local institution that has been serving our community for over a hundred years.”
“This is a great opportunity to partner with a world class organization,” says Rick Bagy, president of First National Bank of St. Louis. “Not only the players they put on the field, but the office and staff behind the players shows that this is a class organisation and one we are proud to be associated with.”
The sponsorship programme will also include incentives to customers who open a Cardinals Chequing account including specially designed Cardinals cheques, a chequebook cover, and a Cardinals Debit MasterCard card. New customers opening Cardinals checking will also get two free tickets to a game. Using the bank’s debit card will get bank customers 10% discounts on Cardinals merchandise at the Team Store and on Cardinals tickets purchased online or at the Stadium.
