Lighthouse and TS Sports open Uni-Trade Stadium
Lighthouse Jumbovision and TS Sports are completing the installation of a 20mm LED outfield video screen at Uni-Trade Stadium, new home of the Laredo Lemurs. The stadium, which was designed by Dallas-based HKS, is an US$18 million state-of-the-art, multi-purpose stadium with a capacity for 6,000 people.
The main Lighthouse video screen is built from 70 individual 20mm LED video panels, and measures 42ft wide by 22ft high. The LED video screen will entertain Lemurs fans with custom video, Lemurs replays and player introductions, sponsor messages and colourful animations.
Over 215,000 individual LED video pixels make up nearly 1,000ft2 of the main LED video display. The Lighthouse Pi20 20mm LED video panels will light up Laredo's nighttime skies, and keep Lemurs fans involved in the game. Lighthouse's 20mm main screen will provide real-time statistics, sponsor messages, and crowd-wowing animations, all part of the major league experience Lighthouse delivers to minor league stadia all over the country.
The Laredo Lemurs first home game at Uni-Trade Stadium is May 17 against the Grand Prairie Airhogs.
