Direct Energy becomes official partner of the Houston Dynamo

The Houston Dynamo and Direct Energy have reached a long-term sponsorship agreement that will make Direct Energy an official partner of the Dynamo and BBVA Compass Stadium. Under the agreement, Direct Energy will also serve as the official energy provider for the Dynamo and BBVA Compass Stadium.
“Direct Energy’s commitment to the community matches our own and we look forward to partnering with them on several key grassroots initiatives, including the Dynamo’s highly popular youth soccer loyalty initiative, MLS Futbolito, Dynamo Trials and the Dynamo Corporate Cup,” said Dynamo executive vice president Steven Powell.
Direct Energy is also the official presenting sponsor for the 6 September home game between the Dynamo and Real Salt Lake.
“As we recently announced our corporate headquarters relocation to Houston, this partnership solidifies the fact that we are committed to this city and its people,” added Direct Energy president Steven Murray. “Similarly the colour orange is a big part of both of our identities, so it’s a perfect match.”

Brazil's Morumbi stadium is undergoing an extensive modernisation project that will increase the venue's flexibility, improve safety and increase spectator comfort.
