Latest Farmers Field renderings shown on day one of Stadia Design & Technology Expo 2012

The most-talked about stadia project of the past few years seemingly moved another step closer to reality at Stadia Design & Technology Expo 2012 yesterday after a newly created 3D architectural ‘fly-thru’ and new renders of downtown LA’s proposed Farmers Field was shown for the first time.

The spectacular animation (click here) was a collaboration between four architectural firms and three rendering firms and was created to visually showcase the look and feel of a fully completed LA LIVE Sports and Entertainment District (including the Convention Center’s public spaces) during conventions, community events, football games and major events.

“Today’s new look into Farmers Field, the Convention Center and surrounding pubic spaces shows the latest examples of the creativity and functionality that our architects, designers and other consultants are providing throughout the on-going development process,” commented Ted Tanner, executive vice president, Development, AEG, during the opening session of this year’s Expo. “With last month’s release of our draft Environmental Impact Report and the continued work being done by our architects, we continue to make progress on the development of design drawings.”

Don’t forget, Stadia Design & Technology Expo 2012 will be open until 2:30pm on Thursday May 10, 2012 at the LA Convention Centre in downtown Los Angeles. Registration is free either onsite or online by clicking here
