BTF awards grant to Owatonna Huskies
The Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF) has awarded a grant of US$45,134 to the Owatonna Huskies Bullpen Club for the installation of Musco Lighting on its youth baseball facility at Jaycee Park. The addition of lighting will provide more field availability by allowing evening practices and game times for approximately 500 players in Owatonna, Minnesota.
To celebrate the completion of the project, the Owatonna Huskies Bullpen Club hosted a field lighting ceremony at Jaycee Park Field Complex on 29 June.
“The Baseball Tomorrow Fund is excited to provide this grant for field lighting at Jaycee Park,” says Cathy Bradley, executive director for the Baseball Tomorrow Fund. “We understand that field availability is often a challenge for many youth baseball and softball programmes, and we believe that the lights will provide additional opportunities for play. We would also like to thank Musco Lighting, for providing a generous discount for its top quality lighting equipment. Projects like this would not be possible without Musco’s support.”
