Bank of America Stadium upgrades fan experience
The Carolina Panthers have upgraded their in-stadium fan experience for the 2012 season by adding more than 460 Wi-Fi access points that will bring free AT&T Wi-Fi Internet to fans everywhere, from concession stands to seats and concourse areas.
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Bank of America Stadium is a 70,000 seat facility and home to the Carolina Panthers, the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship game and a number of other college bowl games and special events.
The Bank of America Stadium is now equipped with more than 460 AT&T Wi-Fi access points. Fans with a WiFi enabled AT&T smartphone or tablet can easily and automatically connect to the AT&T Wi-Fi network, without any setup or login required. Fans with other Wi-Fi enabled smartphones or tablets can connect to the AT&T network by logging in.
"Fans come to Bank of America Stadium looking for a fully engaged game day experience, and with the availability of AT&T WiFi throughout the venue, now they can combine the excitement of cheering on their favourite team with having real-time stats, access to popular social media and all their favourite apps right at their fingertips," says Danny Morrison, president, Carolina Panthers. "Adding AT&T Wi-Fi to Bank of America Stadium will continue to enhance the fan experience."

Brazil's Morumbi stadium is undergoing an extensive modernisation project that will increase the venue's flexibility, improve safety and increase spectator comfort.
