Liverpool FC’s Anfield stadium goes contactless

English Premier League (EPL) soccer club Liverpool FC has awarded a contract for a hosted integrated hospitality solution to support its museum, tour and hospitality operations, as part of the stadium re-development at Anfield.

This will see the replacement of Liverpool’s legacy system and installation initially of more than two hundred EPOS terminals with additional installations to be implemented in phases when the new stand opens for the 2016/17 soccer season.

Supporters and visitors will see an expanded Main Stand incorporating an additional 8,500 seats when opened, taking the full stadium capacity to 54,000. The Main Stand will become one of the largest all-seater single stands in Europe and will offer fans facilities and experiences across public concessions and hospitality suites visible from several points in the city.
