Buccaneers bring the beach to Raymond James Stadium

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have launched a new beach-style entertainment offering – Bucs Beach – by the entrance to their Raymond James Stadium.

Open three and a half hours before kick-off, Bucs Beach is, according to the club, “a radically new entertainment concept”. Located on the South Plaza, outside the gates, it features music, live performances, tailgate games and photo opportunities. Fans are invited to “dance along to a DJ in the Bud Light Krewe Ship, get their photo taken with their face in a giant Bucs flag, lounge in a hammock, or kick back in the sand in an oversized Adirondack chair as they wait for kick-off”.

There will be different food trucks each week, showcasing the different flavors of Tampa Bay throughout the season, and each game day will see new art performances, giveaways and prizes.

Bucs Beach is part of an ongoing drive to give Bucs fans the best game-day experience and comes on the back of a US$160m renovation of Raymond James Stadium.
