Chelsea reported to be exploring Olympic Stadium groundshare

English Premier League soccer club Chelsea FC is considering a groundshare with London rivals West Ham FC at the Olympic Stadium, reports the BBC.

Chelsea will need to relocate for three years while redevelopment of the club’s Stamford Bridge site is underway, and while earlier reports had suggested that a deal with Wembley Stadium had been agreed, the BBC’s reporters suggest that Chelsea officials met with representatives of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) about a temporary move to share the former Olympic Stadium with West Ham.

The report also suggests that a move to English national rugby stadium Twickenham has also been discussed.
