Rival Chilean soccer clubs partner to implement single platform technology

Green 4 Solutions has announced a new multi-year agreement with two professional soccer clubs based in Santiago, Chile.

Colo-Colo and Universidad Católica are regarded as two of the most successful and popular clubs in Chilean soccer. They will embark on a joint partnership, implementing a single-platform stadium technology solution.

The software, supplied by sport and leisure technology specialist Green 4 Solutions, will deploy a full end-to-end solution within Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015. This will provide one system for ticketing and merchandise operations, which will be implemented using a phased approach.

The Go system is the industry’s first full solution to include stadium ticketing, built within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This will offer both clubs advanced functionality, including a ‘single shopping basket’ for ticketing and merchandise sales, along with CRM, data analysis, email marketing and marketing automations, as well as a fan loyalty and rewards program.

By joining forces, Universidad Católica and Colo-Colo are able to secure a better commercial deal to the benefit of both clubs.

Colo-Colo’s brand manager, Gonzalo Hernández, says, “We were looking not only for an operational system to sell tickets, but something that could help our fans feel closer to our club, through intelligent marketing actions.

“We traveled to Europe to meet with a number of different vendors, and we selected Green 4 Solutions as the right supplier for our requirements.”

Sebastián Soria, commercial director for Universidad Católica, adds, “This new alliance with Green 4 Solutions allows us to have a first-class system, unique in Chile. We put ourselves at the forefront of the Chilean soccer industry.
