Allegiant Stadium blackout evacuation drill

What happens when an emergency such as a fire happens at a large-scale venue, and how do you test for it? The Las Vegas Raiders are answering those exact questions at its new Allegiant Stadium where it has been performing dry runs of its evacuation exercise.

In a video released by the team, joint contractors Mortenson and McCarthy tested out its fire alarm system and blackout evacuation at the stadium. The stadium is equipped with an emergency backup power system, so if all the lights and power were to be knocked out, it will still be able to light up the inside of the venue so fans can evacuate safely.
