ISM Raceway in Arizona demolishes old control tower as part of renovation project

ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, a 1-mile tri-oval, has released video and imagery of the demolition of its old 130ft race control tower. A new 6,300ft2 race operations structure will be constructed above the new start/finish line as part of a US$178m modernization project.

ISM raceway was originally constructed in 1964 and regularly hosts NASCAR and IndyCar races.
