As the NFL’s Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders arrive in London for the first of the International Series games, see how the world-class stadium prepares to host its first-ever NFL matchup.

The new stadium in north London cost over US$1bn and was designed specifically to host soccer and NFL games, thanks to a first-of-its-kind dual playing surface where its grass soccer field retracts to reveals an artificial field for NFL underneath.

See how stadium crews work to prepare the field, including applying the NFL branding ahead of the main event.

NFL teams will return to the stadium on October 13 when the Carolina Panthers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Following this, Wembley Stadium will then take its turn to host two more NFL London games.
