At the Johan Cruyff Stadium, which is the new training facilities for Spanish soccer side FC Barcelona, a new pitch lighting system has been installed with state-of-the-art technology.
The new LED lighting system comes from Musco, which is collaborating as the soccer pitch lighting supplier for the Espai Barca project, and will reduce glare and offer controllable lighting at the training ground for greater uniformity.
The Espai Barca project is a huge transformation of all the facilities of FC Barcelona in the district of Les Corts in Barcelona, and the Johan Cruyff Stadium in the Joan Gamper Training facilities in Sant Joan Despí.
The project is a total of 86 acres (35 hectares), spread across the center of Barcelona and around the club’s home stadium, the Camp Nou. The Camp Nou is also in the process of planning for a renovation.
