Lighting specialist Osram has announced its new Floodlight 20 Maxi LED, a floodlight for lighting sports locations that offers flicker-free lighting for HDTV broadcasting and super-slow motion.
Osram is expanding its LED floodlight range with the larger Maxi LED. As a result, the floodlight series is now available in four sizes – and with luminous flux levels from 3,000 lm to 100,000 lm. The lens optic ensures precise light control, minimizes glare and also achieves an impressive combination of light quality and efficiency.
The Maxi version, with a connected load of 875W and 100,000 lm, is suitable for illuminating wide areas and designed for mounting heights from 14m (46ft) upward. Seven different light distribution patterns enable a diversity of applications. The floodlight provides flicker-free lighting, enabling TV broadcasting in HDTV and super-slow motion. The modular design of the floodlight range consists of a housing with ECU, ESD-protected LED module and fixing element, enabling simple installation, maintenance and upgrading of modules.
