Lambeau Field is one of the oldest venues in the NFL and is famed for its old-school style, however, it has modernized its visual experience for fans with a new display system.

The home of the Green Bay Packers has partnered with Daktronics to design, manufacture and install nine new LED video walls and double-sided video boards on two new marquees. Video walls were installed in the Legends Club, adjacent club space atriums and inside Titletown’s Rockwood Terrace event space while the marquees were installed outside of the stadium.

“We wanted our football product to be the best quality for our fans,” said Kregg Shilbauer, Green Bay Packers director of digital, broadcast and game presentation. “The image quality, brightness and color were unmatched to what we had before, and it was noticed by our fans and staff. We are proud to have partnered with Daktronics on this project, their expertise was invaluable.”

The six video walls installed at Lambeau Field each measure nearly 7ft high by 12ft wide and feature 1.9-millimeter line spacing. The three video walls installed at Rockwood Terrace each measure 4.5ft high by 8ft wide and feature 1.5-millimeter line spacing. These narrow pixel pitches provide more detailed and crisp imagery for people standing mere feet away from the displays.

Two concourse displays cater to fans as they enhance the experience and provide additional branding and promotional opportunities for the venue. Located in the Legends Club, four displays allow for versatility for the events they can hold as well as catering to team meetings with a digital video wall to share content from game film to event branding and messaging.

In Titletown, three LED video walls provide similar versatility in digital content and branding to support any event hosted at Rockwood Terrace from weddings to awards dinners.

Additionally, two double-sided pylon signs featuring 8-millimeter LED technology were installed outside of Lambeau Field. Each of these measures 9.5ft high by 18ft wide to connect with fans as they arrive at the stadium, brand their experience and share additional messages throughout each event.
