Philips Professional Display Solutions is to become an official supplier to the Harlequins rugby union team for the next three-years in a deal which has seen the firm install signage and TVs in the Harlequins Twickenham Stoop Stadium in the UK.

Philips Professional Display Solutions has installed a range of digital signage and professional TVs throughout the stadium, including five videowalls and a number of large format screens in the bar and lounge areas and a Philips MediaSuite 4K UHD TV in the boxes. Displays have also been installed into the reception areas and media suite, as well as in the changing and physio rooms.

Martin Ware, UK sales director at Philips Professional Display Solutions said, “The Harlequins stadium offers us the opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of the Philips Signage and Pro TV line up, with a club that has real synergy with our own brand values and the passion we have both had, for well over a century, for innovating in our fields and making a difference that extends into the future.”

Alex Goldschmidt, commercial director for the Harlequins Premiership rugby union team said, “The delivery of an outstanding matchday remains at the forefront of our minds and the new range of high-definition screens will enhance the experience for all who come to The Stoop.

“We are excited to be working closely with the team as we continue to modernize and enhance our Home, through the provision of best-in-class facilities across both our matchday and non-matchday offerings.”
