With a completion date of October 2020, work is moving at a rapid pace on Georgian soccer side FC Dinamo Batumi’s new home. This timelapse video shows the progress so far.

The 20,000-seater Batumi Stadium located in Georgia’s Black Sea resort of Batumi has been designed in accordance with the requirements of UEFA category 4 and is being built by Anagi Construction – the country’s largest construction company.

The stadium is designed with a full framed structural diagram, with monolithic reinforced concrete load-bearing elements are comprised of simple bar and flat platelike elements.

The project broke ground in January 2018 and has developed to a state where structural elements including stands, seating bowl and roof are all in place.
