Smart wearable merchandise makes debut at Stadium Anoeta

Fans of Spanish soccer side Real Sociedad were the first to trial smart merchandise at their recently renovated home stadium.

The wearable item, which is seen in the form of a scarf, is powered by Solos Smart Wearable technology. The supporters’ gear is embedded with intelligent technology that connects wirelessly to the wearer’s smartphone, meaning the merchandise becomes their contactless ticket to the match, a payment method for food and beverages in ground, a VIP pass to redeem exclusive offers and an anti-counterfeit device all in one.
