Before the 2026 baseball season began, Daktronics worked with 11 teams at the highest level of the sport to bring new technology to their ballparks. Teams from New York to Seattle and multiple locations in between brought new LED displays, ribbon boards, backstops, premium seating and club areas, audio enhancements, and more to their ballparks.
These projects reflect a continued focus on improving the fan experience while keeping pace with modern technology.
Daktronics delivered more than 40 displays totaling 91.7 million pixels and 65,000+ square feet of digital space. For reference, that could cover a baseball infield more than eight times. The result is a fully connected game-day environment, from the main video board to the concourses to the team store and beyond.
In New York, the Yankees turned to Daktronics for a new centerfield video display, flanking displays and ribbon boards on the 200 and 300 levels of the stadium.

“Throughout the planning and execution of this enormously complicated project, Daktronics has been a wonderful partner,” said New York Yankees Senior Vice President of Stadium Operations Doug Behar. “We are extremely happy with the end result, which features 2-to-3 times better resolution and vibrancy than our previous video boards could provide. These improvements will elevate the Stadium experience for our guests, and we are excited for them to enjoy our video presentation throughout the season.”
In Chicago, the Cubs brought bolder, brighter visuals to Wrigley Field with 8,300+ square feet of displays with improved resolution. This includes a total of 1.4 million pixels throughout the stadium, including the outfield video displays.
“Video boards play a key role in driving fan engagement at the Friendly Confines, and our partnership with Daktronics ensures we continue to raise the bar,” said Cubs Vice President of Content and Production Matt Romito. “With advanced display technology and higher resolution, these upgrades will deliver sharper visuals and real-time content to help amplify the fan experience and energy in the ballpark.”

Meanwhile, in Arizona, the Diamondbacks installed an outfield display that is 52% larger than the previous board – now the largest in the state. It is top 10 in size in the major leagues and features nearly 9,600 square feet of digital space.
“Our goal is always to make Chase Field one of the most exciting places in baseball to watch a game,” said Derrick Hall, D-backs President, CEO & General Partner. “Daktronics brought incredible expertise and innovation to this project, helping us deliver a world-class scoreboard and ribbon board system that will transform how fans experience the game at Chase Field. These new displays are an innovative step forward, building on recent lighting and audio upgrades as we continue enhancing the ballpark for our fans.”

In Seattle, the Mariners brought more than 11,300 square feet to their outfield main video display to entertain and inform fans at T-Mobile Park.
“We pride ourselves in consistently finding ways to elevate the fan experience at T-Mobile Park, and the new Mariners Fire TV in center field represents another great opportunity to make a meaningful impact,” said Mariners Vice President of Content and Creative Services Ben Mertens.
While the main displays are the biggest focus at these stadiums, other displays throughout the ballparks round out the overall experience. The ribbon boards, backstop displays, dugout displays and more at the Yankees, Brewers, Guardians, Padres and Astros deliver this fully connected experience. Even the Phillies are connecting with their fans at their team store with LED displays.
Improving upon the actual content shown, the Angels are delivering custom content triggered by game action using Daktronics Camino, a real-time rendering platform. This allows the team build and update graphics on the fly to match the live action on the field. They’re leveraging Camino to tell a more meaningful story to their fans as they enjoy the game.
Bringing all of this technology together is delivering a connected experience for fans at a live sporting event like they’ve never seen before.
